Gesina Beckert leads Partnership Development for cocoa brands at Fair Trade USA, where she nurtures the certification and growth of mission-aligned chocolate and confection companies. Passionate about the role of businesses in driving positive change, Gesina empowers companies to shift their supply chain activities to support people and planet in producer communities. Prior to joining Fair Trade USA in 2017 to drive change in sustainable supply chains, Gesina held roles in technology in the renewable energy space. A native of Germany, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business. She loves chocolate and is grateful to call some of the most delicious and sustainable chocolate companies her partners.
