Learn how the global coffee market is impacting farming communities, how displaced people are treated on their journeys and received in our communities, and how Fair Trade is one systematic solution to this humanitarian crisis.

    • Learn best practices for moving people online – from keys to authentic storytelling, strategies for building an engaged audience, to tools and platforms for connecting with people and driving them to action.
  • Start and Grow Your Fair Trade Business
    • Starting a business is a major endeavor. Creating one that operates based on values and equity is an imperative. Hear how two successful entrepreneurs built their businesses using Fair Trade as an operating principle, and how you can too.
    • An effective fundraising strategy can help your fair trade campaign or organization grow leaps and bounds. In this workshop, Fair Trade Los Angeles and Chicago Fair Trade directors share what fundraising has allowed them to accomplish. The seasoned fundraiser who trained both organizations on direct ask fundraisers will also be on hand to explain how to build a team who will help you raise money, tackle your fears, and create a culture of fundraising to strengthen your fair trade advocacy and ensure that your campaign or organization is sustainable.
  • Diversity, Inclusion and Advocacy
    • In order for our advocacy efforts to have lasting, meaningful impact; diversity, equity and inclusivity must be at the heart of our work. Join this networking session to discuss principles and strategies for diverse and inclusive advocacy from different dimensions of diversity, to representation and inclusion in storytelling, to forming partnerships with new groups and making Fair Trade accessible for all.
