Freund is the Communications & Media Manager for Food 4 Farmers, an NGO working to improve food security in the coffee lands. In addition, he manages his own consultancy working with a portfolio of clients including Fortune 500 companies, international NGOs, and nonprofit organizations.
Freund was previously Media Manager and Digital Content Manager at Fairtrade America and part of the Communications Unit at Fairtrade International, the world’s most trusted ethical certification. He also served as Communications Manager for Coffee Kids, an international NGO dedicated to helping coffee-farming families improve their quality of life, and worked for two years in the Peace Corps in Guatemala.
