Adam Olson is a Senior Advocacy Advisor in Oxfam America’s Policy and Campaigns Division. Oxfam is a global organization working to end the injustice of poverty. Oxfam’s approach is about tackling the conditions that cause poverty in the first place, rather than the distribution of material goods.
In his role, Adam supports the organization’s policy goals through collaboration with policymakers, allied organizations, community leaders, faith groups, and academics in seven U.S. states. His remit includes international agricultural development, human rights, and aid reform. Adam’s work is entirely nonpartisan.
Adam also guest lectures, is an active Rotarian, and serves on the board of Chicago Fair Trade. He is proud to have grown up in Minnesota farm country, which informs his approach to sustainable agriculture.
