The Sustainable Development Goals offer a wide-ranging approach to ensuring decent work and economic growth. Among them, target 8.7 calls for immediate and effective measures to eradicate forced labor, end modern slavery and human trafficking and eliminate the worst forms of child labor. Economic empowerment, workers’ rights and other components of Fair Trade can help meet these targets by 2030.
